Val di Fiemme is the valley of the fiery sunsets, hence the definition of Enrosadira, the time of year when at both dawn and dusk the mountains glow an intense red colour thanks to the calcium and magnesium carbonate in the Dolomia.

Hotel Bellamonte is located in Bellamonte, a hamlet of Predazzo, which was once considered the 'hay mountain' of Val di Fiemme. With its 110 km of slopes and 50 ski lifts, Val di Fiemme is a popular destination for ski enthusiasts.

The Bellamonte-Alpe Lusia ski lifts caress the borders of the Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Nature Park, famous for its spruce forests, known as "resonance spruce" because it is used to make the soundboxes of musical instruments. 

The area is also very practical for young skiers who want to learn the sport but also enjoy themselves in the various Kindergartens and Snow parks in the area.

In Val di Fiemme it is also possible to go night skiing on the Olimpia 3 slope at Alpe Cermis and the Obereggen slope of the Ski Center Latemar.
